CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 82 - 113 <br />BY: MR. WILAMOSKY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR 2,500 TONS OF <br />ROAD SALT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT <br />FOR SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and <br />he is hereby aut orized to advertise for bids for 2,500 tons of <br />road salt in accordance with specifications now on file in his <br />office, and that upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor <br />is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to provide for the safe <br />use of City streets during the Winter season, and further, provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />&ge4w'? e• X. <br />'PLUKENCE E.
