CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORD:INANCE N0. 82- 106 <br />BY: F. Dean McKay <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT <br />EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES FOR THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1982, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby author- <br />ized and directed to transfer Recreation Program Fund appropriations as <br />follows: <br />FROM <br />TO <br />Advertising Supplies, Promotion $1,500. Gas $15,500. <br />Contingency 3,100. Equipment Purchase 500. <br />Office Supplies 1,000. Concession Supplies 3,000. <br />Program Supplies 8,400. Hospitilization 2,000. <br />Refunds 1,500. <br />Telephone 3,000. <br />Misc. & Org. & Travel 500. <br />Wages 2,000. <br />TOTAL: $21,000. TOTAL: $ 21,000. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw <br />his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resalution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that <br />no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or Ordinance. Provided, <br />further that the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting ? <br />a legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately necessary for the <br />continuity of services, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />Passed: 7 /930oL <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
