_? . <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82 - 20 <br />PAGE S. <br />SECTION 12: That the salary ranges established herein, except <br />for those ealing with elected officials, shall be effective <br />retroactively to January 1, 1982. Salaries specified in this <br />Ordinance shall be naid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly <br />basis. <br />SECTION 13: The Foremen and Dispatcher listed in Sections 6 and <br />7 hereof will be paid time and one-half of their straight time rates <br />of pay for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one <br />day and time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for hours <br />worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one work week. <br />SECTION 14: That all full time administrative personnel having <br />completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees <br />of said departments shall be paid an additional four percent (4o) of <br />their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth <br />(lOth) year of full time continuous service, after which such employee <br />shall receive five percent (50) of their base annual salary; there- <br />after until the completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full time <br />continuous service, such employee shall receive six percent (60) of <br />their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth <br />(20th) year of full time continuous service, and during each year <br />of full time service thereafter they shall receive seven percent (70) <br />of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />SECTION 15: That all full time administrative personnel listed <br />within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays off, unless <br />rec{uired to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in emergencies <br />and shall receive their regular rate of pay: New Year's Day; <br />President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving <br />Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and a floating holiday. <br />SECTION 16: That all full time administrative personnel listed <br />within this Ordinance shall be entitled to an annual vacation in <br />accordance with the following schedule: <br />1 to 5 years inclusive, of full time service - Two Weeks Vacation <br />6 to 11 years inclusive, of full time service - Three Weeks Vacation <br />12 to 19 years inclusive, of full time service - Four Weeks Vacation <br />20 Years and over of fu11 time service - Five Weeks Vacation <br />SECTION 17: That all ordinances or resolutions or parts of <br />ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed <br />with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 18: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason it is <br />immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into <br />line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the T7ayor. <br />PASSED: <br />oCJ <br />Florence E.
