SECTION 12: That the salary ranges established herein, except for those ealing with elected officials, shall be effective retroactively to January 1, 1982. Salaries specified in this Ordinance shall be naid by the Director of Finance on a bi-weekly basis. SECTION 13: The Foremen and Dispatcher listed in Sections 6 and 7 hereof will be paid time and one-half of their straight time rates of pay for hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in any one day and time and one-half of their straight time rate of pay for hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one work week. SECTION 14: That all full time administrative personnel having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as employees of said departments shall be paid an additional four percent (4o) of their base annual salary; thereafter until completion of the tenth (lOth) year of full time continuous service, after which such employee shall receive five percent (50) of their base annual salary; there- after until the completion of their fifteenth (15th) year of full time continuous service, such employee shall receive six percent (60) of their base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20th) year of full time continuous service, and during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive seven percent (70) of their base annual salary as longevity increments. SECTION 15: That all full time administrative personnel listed within this Ordinance shall receive the following holidays off, unless rec{uired to work by their supervisor or the Mayor in emergencies and shall receive their regular rate of pay: New Year's Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; the employee's birthday; and a floating holiday. SECTION 16: That all full time administrative personnel listed within this Ordinance shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: 1 to 5 years inclusive, of full time service - Two Weeks Vacation 6 to 11 years inclusive, of full time service - Three Weeks Vacation 12 to 19 years inclusive, of full time service - Four Weeks Vacation 20 Years and over of fu11 time service - Five Weeks Vacation SECTION 17: That all ordinances or resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. SECTION 18: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare and for the further reason it is immediately necessary to review all pay scales and bring them into line due to inflation and cost of living increases, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the T7ayor.
