<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82-52 <br />BY: DEAN McKay <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY CON1bSISSIONERS FOR THE PURCHASE <br />OF A C.R.I.S. PROJECT SLAVE UNIT SYSTEM, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the County Commissions of Cuyahoga County have <br />established a computer system for the purpose of storing various <br />sundry items relative to police investigation regarding criminal <br />activity, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has previously expressed the desire <br />to become involved in said system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized <br />to enter lnto an agreement with the County Commissioners of Cuyahoga <br />County for the purpose of purchasing certain compatible ec{uipment <br />that interfaces with the County computer system, na.mely, a computer <br />printer, a terminal, and keyboard, with the estimated cost of <br />$6,356.00. <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to-pay the aforesaid amount to the County Commissioners <br />of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare, and fpr the further reason that <br />it is immediately necessary to program the County computer with the <br />North Olmsted data, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by <br />the Mayor. <br />PASSED: / <br />ATTEST: <br />? <br />F RENCE CAMPBELL, CLER OF COUNCIL <br />0 "? ot.
