,?? ? <br />',, <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82-79 <br />PAGE 2. <br />SECTION 2: The Litter Control and Recycling Advisory Council <br />shall meet monthly for the purpose of developing goals and objectives <br />which reflect the general goal of the Ohio Litter Control Program <br />to reduce litter and littering and to change the littering habits <br />of all of Ohioans which may directly involve the commitment and <br />support of the various community groups and the interest hereinbefore <br />specified. Said Council shall develop programs consistent with the <br />goals of the Ohio Litter Control Program within a budget specified <br />by the Council. The Council, from time to time shall recommerid to <br />the City Council, changes in ordinances which would help to abate <br />littering and advance the cause of recycling. Further the Council <br />shall file an annual written report to the City Council not later <br />than December 15th of each and every year setting forth the activities <br />engaged in during the prior year, and also making recommendations for <br />activities in the next year. <br />SECTION 3: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary to establish said Advisory Council so that the City may <br />apply for grants which are due on September 3, 1982, and further <br />provided it,receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all the <br />members elected to Council, it shall take effect, and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ? <br />ATTEST: <br />A&0 <br />? e <br />l lY. 1cl <br />? <br />L N E CAMPBELL, CWRK CI <br />o ES D <br />l .
