'? . <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82-83 <br />PAGE 2. <br />(d) Vacancy. In case of a vacancy, a President pro-tem <br />shall serve until such time as the At-Large vacancy is filled <br />in accordance with Article IV, Section 5 of this Charter. <br />SECTION 2: That if such amendment is approved by the <br />majority o-ele ctors voting thereon at such election, it shall <br />become effective from and after the time of its approval by the <br />electors. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby authorized <br />and directed to cause a copy of the proposed Charter amendment to <br />be published in such a manner as may be authori.zed by law. <br />SECTION 4: That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />authorize an irected to forward a certified copy of this Ordinance <br />to the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 5: That the Board of Elections is hereby reauested <br />to cause appropriate notice to such election to be duly given in <br />accordance with law. <br />SF.CTION 6: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be <br />an emergency necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, property, health, and safety of the City, and for the <br />further reason that this Ordinance must be immediately effective <br />in order to permit necessary arrangements to be made in sufficient <br />time for said election; wherefore, this ordinance shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage, and further provided <br />it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE C PBELL, CLERK OF C UNCIL JAMES D.
