Council Minutes o1' 1-15-2019 <br />Mr. Glassburn made a motion to reappoint Tom Dubowski for a two year term on the <br />Landmarks Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and <br />passed unanimously. <br />Yes: Glassburn, Schumann, Limpert, Williamson, Hemann, Kearney, Brossard <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Tom Dubowski appointed to Landmarks 7-0. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />No comments. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2018-117 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a "GapVax Combination JetiVacUum <br />Machine" truck and equipment, at a final cost of $478,115.00 from MTech, all through <br />the State Purchase Program; appropriating funds for said purchase; and further <br />authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, <br />and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Hemann, Glassburn, Limpert, Brossard, Schumann, Williamson, Kearney <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Resolution 2018-1 17 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2018-119 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to <br />provide design build construction services for new playground facilities at North Olmsted <br />Park, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control to contract <br />for the same with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Hemann and passed 6-1. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Kearney, Hemann, Brossard, Limpert, Schumann, Williamson <br />No: Glassburn <br />Motion carried: Resolution 2018-119 adopted 6-1. <br />Mr. Glassburn voted no with comment. I am supportive of this project, but would prefer <br />to do it after our presentations regarding the Rec Center. <br />Ordinance 2019-2 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading. An <br />Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $165,000 of notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of acquiring and <br />installing telecommunications system equipment and network fiber, together with <br />necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto, for use in carrying out city services <br />and functions; and declaring an emergency. <br />C <br />
