CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2019 — 33 By: Mayor Kennedy A RESOLUTION A UTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE CRACKSEALING ON VARIOUS STREETS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE CITY, AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, FOLLOWING APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF CONTROL, TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. WHEREAS, the bid specifications for cracksealing of various City streets, as prepared by the City Engineer, are on file with the City of North Olmsted; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for cracksealing on various streets in the City, and to further authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, after Board of Control approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for cracksealing on various streets in the City of North Olmsted according to plans and specifications on file and that the Mayor further is hereby authorized, upon approval of the Board of Control, to enter into such a contract and execute the same with the lowest and best bidder.
