Council Minutes of 3-5-2019
Councilwoman Hemann voted yes with comment. Since I represent the historic district, I
would like to recommend all of Council that you know the Landmarks Commission are a
body of volunteers. They are not elected by the voters, by the residents. We are elected to
represent their interests. Circumventing Council on rules that will probably be held over
200 homes, 180 homes I think is very unfair to those voters and those residents we were
elected to represent. They did not agree to have volunteers writing their rules. Thank you.
Resolution 2019-31 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading.
