AND DECLARINGAN EMF. RGEN CY: W'IIEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Master Plan envisions the rehabilitation of the C`itv`s ballfields and the administration proposes. for 2020, to rede4izgn and rehabilitate Fields I and 2 at the North Olmsted Community Park: and WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Master Plan found and recommended the community, need lor, improvement ol'the (.'itis ballfields.. including the rehabilitation of Fields I and 2 at the North Olmsted Community Park: and lY'HEREAS, the Director of Planning and Development has requested that this Council authorize her to use Chapter I F2 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, to implement an R.F.Q. process to select qualified design professionals. such as an architectiengineer, to design suitable rehabilitation project for public bidding and to provide construction administration services, to be followed by a public bid, and WHEREAS, in accordance with the recommendation of the Director of Planning and I)evelopment. it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director to use the R.F.Q. process to select appropriate design professionals to prepare the ballfield rehabilitation project for public bid and, further, to authorize the :Mayor to enter into contracts with the design professionals selected in the R.F.Q. process. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RIiSOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OL;t15TED, COUNTY OF CUY`4HOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECThON 1: That the I)irector of Planning and Development be and she is authorized to implement the R.1, .0. process to select design professionals to design suitable rehabilitation options for Fields I and 2 at the North Olmsted Community Park. and including design specifications and construction administration services for such a project to he public bid.
