CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 2019 - 78 BY: Mayor Kennedy AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE B UTTERNUT RIDGE HISTORIC DISTRICT. WHEREAS, Chapter 165, "Landmarks Commission," provides for amendment of the boundaries of the Butternut Ridge Historic District, specifically Section 165.06(c)(8) provides that Council may amend the boundaries based upon its review of the Landmark Commission's Boundary Modification Report, a copy of which is on file with the Clerk of Council and includes a detailed explanations and a map of the District; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Planning and Development and of the Landmarks Commission that the boundaries of the Butternut Ridge Historic District be amended in accordance with its Boundary Modification Report dated August 12, 2019; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, acting upon the recommendation of Director and the Landmarks Commission, to amend the boundaries of the Butternut Ridge Historic District. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the physical and geographic boundaries of the Butternut Ridge Historic District be and are hereby amended pursuant to Council authority as contained in Section 165.06 (c) of Chapter 165, "Landmarks Commission" and further that the boundaries shall be and are hereby amended as indicated by the Boundary Modification Report approved by Landmarks Commission on August 12, 2019, a copy of which is incorporated herein and adopted by this Council, including the new map of the Butternut Ridge Historic District, which is attached as Exhibit A. SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after the earliest date provided for by law.
