CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2019 - 78 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE <br />B UTTERNUT RIDGE HISTORIC DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 165, "Landmarks Commission," provides for amendment of <br />the boundaries of the Butternut Ridge Historic District, specifically Section 165.06(c)(8) <br />provides that Council may amend the boundaries based upon its review of the Landmark <br />Commission's Boundary Modification Report, a copy of which is on file with the Clerk <br />of Council and includes a detailed explanations and a map of the District; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Director of Planning and <br />Development and of the Landmarks Commission that the boundaries of the Butternut <br />Ridge Historic District be amended in accordance with its Boundary Modification Report <br />dated August 12, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, acting upon the recommendation of <br />Director and the Landmarks Commission, to amend the boundaries of the Butternut <br />Ridge Historic District. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the physical and geographic boundaries of the Butternut Ridge <br />Historic District be and are hereby amended pursuant to Council authority as contained in <br />Section 165.06 (c) of Chapter 165, "Landmarks Commission" and further that the <br />boundaries shall be and are hereby amended as indicated by the Boundary Modification <br />Report approved by Landmarks Commission on August 12, 2019, a copy of which is <br />incorporated herein and adopted by this Council, including the new map of the Butternut <br />Ridge Historic District, which is attached as Exhibit A. <br />SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after <br />the earliest date provided for by law. <br />PASSED:.,p�FM,bE( /7I q <br />A TTEST: <br />First Reading: -745�- /el <br />Second Reading: 3- <br />Third Reading,: <br />Committee: <br />
