Today, August 6th 2019, as you are being appointed as a Firefighter of the Fire <br />Department, of the City of North Olmsted, do you solemnly swear or affirm; <br />that you will support the Constitution of the United States and the State of <br />Ohio; that you will faithfully and impartially support and enforce the laws of <br />Ohio and the Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted; that you will endeavor <br />to uphold the proudest traditions of the Fire Service, with bravery, strength, <br />diligence, and compassion for your fellow man; that you accept the <br />responsibility of protecting our community from fire and disaster, and shall <br />hold each life as precious as your own; and that you will never disgrace your <br />badge, for it is a symbol of public trust, as you are a public servant, and a <br />proud professional Firefighter.
