Council Minutes of 12-17-2019 equipment for use at the City's Springvale Golf Course and Ballroom facility. Councilman Schumann said he was in possession of the Fiscal Officer's certificate. Ordinance 2019-122 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An Ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of not to exceed $175,000 of notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, to provide funds to pay costs of renovating, rehabilitating, remodeling, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving the City Hall, together with necessary appurtenances and work incidental thereto. Councilman Schumann said he was in possession of the Fiscal Officer's certificate. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Council President Jones scheduled a Committee of the Whole meeting for Monday, January 6, 2020 at 6:45 p.m. to reorganize Council and adopting Council Rules. Councilman Kearney scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings meeting for Monday, January 6 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2019-114 and Resolution 2019- 115. The Director of Planning and Development is asked to attend. Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Building, Zoning & Development meeting for Monday, January 6 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2019-112. The Director of Human Resources is asked to attend. Councilman Limpert scheduled a Streets & Transportation meeting for Monday, January 6 at 7:20 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2019-111. The Director of Safety & Service is asked to attend. Councilman Schumann scheduled a Finance meeting for Monday, January 6, 2019 at 7:25 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2019-109, Ordinance 2019-110 and Ordinances 2019-117 through 2019-122. The Director of Finance, Director of Human Resources and Director of Planning & Development are asked to attend. Mayor Kennedy asked for a moment of personal privilege. Mr. Kearney, we have served together for a long time. It has truly been my pleasure. When I think about you, I think truly about a leader. Not the type of guy that grabs the mic or wants to be in front of the TV. You aren't that guy, but you are a guy that behind the scenes helped lead this Council and I want to thank you and it's been my pleasure to serve with you. I got a lot of good stories, but I will save those for a different time.
