CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2020 - 19 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1149 "MIXED USE <br />DISTRICTS" OF CHAPTER ELEVEN OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TITLED <br />"PLANNING AND ZONING CODE," FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />IMPLEMENTING ZONING CODE CHANGES PROPOSED BY THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED PLANNING AND DESIGN <br />COMMISSION. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Design Commission initiated a Planning and Zoning Code <br />Review of Chapter 1149 as to Mixed Use Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, after careful consideration, the Planning and Design Commission of the City, <br />on the 11 day of _December_, 2019, by formal motion, recommended new and revised <br />Planning and Zoning Code Chapter 1149 be approved; and <br />WHEREAS, following publication of newspaper notice in conformance with the <br />provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the Charter and Section 1127.03 of the Zoning Code, a <br />public hearing was held on the ?5�l day of " 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to amend Planning and Zoning Code Chapter <br />1149 as recommended by the Planning and Design Commission and as set forth therein. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Chapter 1149 which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in the <br />document attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by reference as if fully <br />restated, be amended, and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in the document <br />attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit B and incorporated herein by reference as if fully restated. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council be and he is hereby directed to cause notice of a <br />Public Hearing hereon to be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of Article IV of the <br />Charter of the City of North Olmsted and Section 1127.03 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code. <br />SECTION 3: That, in all other respects, the North Olmsted Zoning Code, as amended <br />and supplemented from time to time, shall remain in full force and effect. <br />
