CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - 39 <br />By: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A WOW <br />BUSINESS CUSTOMER AGREEMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF (1) <br />UPDATING THE FIBER "DEDICATED INTERNET ACCESS" ("DIA ") <br />SERVICES WITHIN CITY HALL; AND (2) ADDING A REDUNDANT <br />FIBER "DIA" SERVICE INTO THE WASTE WATER TREATMENT <br />PLANT. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted desires to establish redundancy for both voice <br />and data along with an added resiliency for disaster recovery; and <br />WHEREAS, the Administration recommends using WOW Internet, Cable and Phone to <br />provide the equipment to establish the desired redundancy and enhanced options in the event of a <br />needed disaster recovery. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into a three year <br />Agreement with WOW in order to provide those materials and services as set forth in the <br />contract as set forth on the attached Exhibit A. The contract shall be in form and substance <br />substantially similar to the attached Agreement, marked as Exhibit A, and attached hereto, with <br />only such changes to be hereinafter made in said contract as are not substantially adverse to the <br />City and which are approved by the Director of Law.
