CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2020 - 54 <br />BY: Council President ,tones <br />AN ORDINANCE REPEALING NORTH OLAISTED ORDINANCE <br />2020-51, ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING <br />TEMPORARY EMERGENCY AUTHORITY OF THE MAYOR, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY: <br />WHEREAS, this Council passed Ord. 2020-51 and thereby granted the Mayor <br />temporary emergency authority to expend funds and enter into contracts, if necessary. in <br />response to Governor DeWine's Fxecutive order 20?0-014D. dated March 9. 2020, and <br />WHEREAS, this Council may convene. as necessary, to exercise its authority to <br />expend funds and approve certain contracts, lifting the urgenCV of Ord. 2020-51: and <br />WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council to repeal Ordinance 2020- <br />51 of the North Olmsted Ordinances. <br />NOR, THEREFORE, BE IT ORD.4INED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That North Olmsted Ordinance 2020-51 is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and <br />welfare, in order to restore and maintain contract authorization procedures. and further <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PAS'S'F.'D: <br />A TTEST <br />CHARLE,_ OLO H <br />Clerk of Council <br />4 PPRO I TD: )' <br />l ivSi Reading: <br />.Second Readhi <br />Tlrirtl Reading. <br />Commitlee: <br />y'1COLE DAILEP- <br />I'l-esi(lent <br />ofCoz <br />4PPROVED AS TO LEGAL FOR!
