CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - 80 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A <br />DONATION OF FOUR (4) NEW LIFEPACK CR2 DEFIBRILLATORS <br />(A.E.D.) FROM THE CLEVELAND CLINIC FOR USE IN THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED DIVISION OF POLICE, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, The Cleveland Clinic has graciously offered a donation of four (4) Lifepack <br />CR2 Defibrillators for use in the City of North Olmsted Division of Police, valued at $9,555.00; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor requests that Council recognize and accept this generous <br />donation, pursuant to Section 131.06 of the Administrative Code, and join in his expression of <br />gratitude on behalf of the City, law enforcement and the entire community; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to authorize the Mayor to accept the donation of <br />equipment worth $9,555.00, with the sincerest appreciation of Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO. <br />SECTION 1: That the City of North Olmsted authorizes the Mayor to accept the <br />donation of four (4) Lifepack CR2 Defibrillators, valued at approximately $9,555.00, from The <br />Cleveland Clinic and further authorizes the Mayor to execute any documents required for the <br />donation of said equipment. <br />SECTION 2. That this Resolution shall take rr . a be in for-ee ftofn d ft the <br />earliest period allowed by law.
