CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2020 - 99 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REESTABLISHING SECTION 1359.09 <br />OF CHAPTER 1359 OF THE BUILDING CODE ENTITLED <br />"MAINTENANCE OF UNOCCUPIED COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS" IN <br />ORDER TO ESTABLISH THE APPEAL PROCESS FROM AN ORDER OF <br />THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER. <br />WHEREAS, the Building Commissioner, consistent with the re -organization of the <br />Planning and Development / Human Resources Departments, is responsible for property <br />maintenance bonds; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council, consistent with the recommendations of the <br />Administration, to adopt an amendment clarifying the appeal process in Chapter 1359(c) of the <br />Building Code. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Section 1359.09 of Chapter 1359, "Maintenance of Unoccupied <br />Commercial Buildings," of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, which <br />presently reads in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit A, attached to this Ordinance and <br />incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten herein, shall be amended, and as amended, shall <br />read as set forth on Exhibit A, with such amendments noted by strikethrough and boldface text. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with <br />this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. Conflicting or <br />inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re -codification. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest date provided for by law. <br />PASSED: Q,4, c, <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading:-IS-��� <br />Third Reading: Id.
