CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2020 - 106 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND RE-ESTABLISHING CHAPTER 167.99 <br />OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, ENTITLED "COMPOSITION AND <br />ORGANIZATION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES" IN <br />ORDER TO IMPLEMENT ORGANIZATION CHANGES WITHIN THE <br />DEPARTMENT AND TO CREATE THE NEW POSITION OF "BUILDING <br />DEPARTMENT COORDINATOR ", AND DECLARING AN EMEGENCY, AS <br />AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, this Council via Ordinance 2010-64 established the organization of the <br />Department of Human Resources, including Organizational Charts, for the purpose of organizing <br />and / or stating the employee complement within the Department of Human Resources; and <br />WHEREAS, the organization was further amended via Ordinance 2011-41, 2016-33 and <br />2019-90; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayor Kennedy, with the advice of Director Gallo, desires to implement <br />further organizational changes within the Department and to create a new position of Building <br />Department Coordinator, as reflected by the attached Job Description; and <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources desires to modify the Organization only <br />to reallocate administrative and supervisory responsibilities within the Department to establish a <br />new position of Building Department Coordinator, reporting to the Building Commissioner, and <br />further reporting to the Director of Human Resources as reflected in the attached Organizational <br />Chart; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to implement the organizational change <br />recommended by Mayor Kennedy and Director of Human Resources Gallo as set forth herein. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Chapter 167.99 which presently reads in its entirety as set forth in <br />Exhibit A, which is attached to this Ordinance and incorporated by reference as if fully rewritten <br />herein, shall be amended and, as amended, shall read in its entirety as set forth in Exhibit B, <br />which is likewise attached to this Ordinance and likewise incorporated by reference as if fully <br />rewritten herein. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent with <br />this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. Conflicting or <br />inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re -codification. <br />
