FOR THE CITY`S SERVICE WORKERS, FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2021 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2023. WHEREAS, Ohio lav provides for the recognition of public sector labor unions and Cor municipal corporations to negotiate collective bargaining agreements with such unions that have been recognized as the bargaining agents for their public employees: and WHEREAS, the Ohio Council 8. Local 2681, of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, AFL -Cl{) (hereinafter, ".AFSCI IE") has been recoplized as the exclusive bargaining a`,ent 601` the t'itv's service xyorkers: and WHEREAS, the Administration conducted negotiations with AFSCMV representing the interests of the members of said bargaining units in 2020; and WHEREAS, the Administration successfully negotiated an agreement on all o1' the issues that were presented during the collective bargaining negotiations between the Administration and AFSCME. and the agreement that was negotiated is satisfactory to both the Administration and the bargaining unit mernbers; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to approve of and authorize the Mayor to enter into a collective bargaining agreement with AFSCME on behalf of. respectively, the City's service workers. for the period ,lanuary 1.. 2021 through December 31, 2023). Local 2681. of the Arncrican federation ol`State. County and Municipal Employees, AFI_, -CIO (hereinafter.
