CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2020 - 115 <br />BY: Mayor Kennedy <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF HUMAN <br />RESOURCES TO SOLICIT PROPOSALS PURSUANT TO THE <br />REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROCESS ("RFP') FOR THE LEASE <br />AND SERVICING OF PHOTOCOPIERS, AND FURTHER <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF THE <br />BOARD OF CONTROL, TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR <br />SAME, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Human <br />Resources to solicit proposals from qualified photocopier companies to lease and service <br />such equipment for use by the City, based on specifications outlined in the request for <br />proposals in the R.F.P. process and, further, to authorize the Mayor, upon approval of the <br />Board of Control, to enter into contracts for same with the most qualified firm to perform <br />the services at a price that is fair and reasonable to the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Human Resources be and she is hereby <br />authorized to solicit or request proposals for lease and service of photocopiers, in <br />accordance with the specifications now on file in her office and that, upon approval by <br />the Board of Control, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or <br />agreements for said copiers with the most qualified firm to provide the copier and copier <br />service agreements. <br />SECTION 2• That this Resolution shall take ff + d b in fefee 4 a ft <br />the earliest date p idea for- T y4a' .,.
