Council Minutes of 1 1-17-2020 <br />legislative personnel for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023 with salary ranges of a zero <br />percent (0%) increase for 2021 and a two and one-half percent (2.5%) increase in 2022 <br />and 2023 for full-time and part-time positions; amending Sections 14, 15 and 16; and <br />otherwise restating compensation benefits and descriptions for various administrative and <br />legislative personnel for the years 2021, 2022 and 2023, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2020-123 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br />Jones on behalf of herself and all of Council. An Ordinance establishing and fixing the <br />compensation for the elected officials of the City of North Olmsted at an increase of zero <br />(0) percent for 2022, zero (0) percent for 2023, and two and one-half (2 %) percent for <br />2024 and two (2) percent for 2025 for the term of office commencing January 1, 2022 <br />and ending December 31, 2025. <br />Ordinance 2020-124 was introduced and placed on first reading by Council President <br />Jones on behalf of herself, Mayor Kennedy and all of Council. An Ordinance dispensing <br />with the RFP process otherwise required by Sections 111.03 et seq. of the Administrative <br />Code and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, if <br />necessary, to enter into a two-year agreement with the Walter H. Drane Company for the <br />purpose of providing ordinance codification services to the City of North Olmsted, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2020-125 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance authorizing a temporary vacancy in the position of Director of Public Safety. <br />Resolution 2020-126 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase a new 375 KVA Generator from Ohio <br />CAT at a cost of $61,300.00 for the Lebern Pump Station, through a State Purchase <br />Program; and further authorizing the Mayor to execute all contract documents for <br />purchase of the same. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Schumann scheduled a Finance meeting for Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at <br />7:00 p.m. to discuss Ordinances 2020-122, 2020-123, 2020-124 and 2020-125. The <br />Mayor, elected officials and Director of Human Resources are asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Hemann scheduled an Environmental Control meeting for Tuesday, <br />November 24, 2020 at 7:25 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2020-126.
