<br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION FOR THE ELECTED
<br />OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AT AN INCREASE OF ZERO (0) PERCENT FOR
<br />2022, ZERO (0) PERCENT FOR 2023, TWO AND ONE-HALF (2 1/2) PERCENT FOR 2024 AND TWO
<br />(2) PERCENT FOR 2025 FOR THE TERM OF OFFICE COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2022 AND
<br />ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2025.
<br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, at Article IV, Section 6, requires the
<br />Council to fix the compensation for all elected officials at least thirty (30) days prior to the filing
<br />date of nominating petitions for terms beginning on the next succeeding first (1 st) day of January;
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish the compensation for all elected officials in
<br />compliance with the Charter's requirements.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED,
<br />COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO:
<br />SECTION 1: That the salary to be paid to the Mayor for the term commencing January 1, 2022 and
<br />ending December 31, 2025, shall be as follows:
<br />Effective January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022 $ 111,338.10
<br />Effective January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023 $ 111,338.10
<br />Effective January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 $ 114,121.55
<br />Effective January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025 $ 116,403.98
<br />SECTION 2: That the salary to be paid to the Director of Finance for the term commencing January 1,
<br />2022 and ending December 31, 2025, shall be as follows:
<br />Effective January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022 $ 108,906.75
<br />Effective January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023 $ 108,906.75
<br />Effective January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 $ 111,629.42
<br />Effective January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025 $ 113,862.01
<br />SECTION 3: That the salary to be paid to the Director of Law for the term commencing January 1, 2022
<br />and ending December 31, 2025, shall be as follows:
