CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2021 - 17 By: Mayor Kennedy A RESOL UTION A UTHORIZING THE MA YOR TO ENTER INTO A ONE YEAR CONTRACT WITH PROCA RE SERVICES -STRYKER IN ORDER TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES FOR LIFEPAK HEART MONITORS USED BY THE NORTH OLMSTED FIRE DEPARTMENT. WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted Fire Department has specialized emergency medical equipment, specifically including LifePak brand heart monitors, which requires routine maintenance and repair to insure its performance; and WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Mayor and Fire Chief that this specialized maintenance and repair service be provided by ProCare Services -Stryker pursuant to its attached proposal at a cost of $6,609.60; and WHEREAS, it is accordingly the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into a one (1) year renewal contract with ProCare Services -Stryker to provide maintenance and repair services for said medical equipment for the North Olmsted Fire Department for the year 2021. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That the Mayor be and he hereby is authorized to enter into a one year service contract with ProCare Services -Stryker for the period January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021, in order to provide maintenance and repair services for emergency medical equipment for the North Olmsted Fire Department. The contract shall be in form and substance substantially similar to the attached proposal, marked as Exhibit A. SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest date provided for by law. PASSED: /" 1G �A I , �y2 I ATTEST.
