Council Minutes of 4-20-2021 Resolution 2021-30 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilwoman Hemann. A Resolution extending for a second time temporary outdoor patio dining areas, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee review as this was discussed in Caucus this evening, it has previously been extended and she believed for the benefit of the health, safety and welfare of our residents and businesses that suspension is necessary. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Hemann, Glassburn, Brossard, Williamson, Schumann, Limpert, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Resolution 2021-31 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to lease replacement fitness/cardio equipment at the North Olmsted Recreation Center, as detailed in the specifications on file in the Division of Recreation, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilman Kelly scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Building committee meeting for Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2021-31. The Recreation Commissioner is asked to attend.
