Resolution 2021-32 adopted 7-0.
Councilman Glassburn voted yes with comment. I am thankful Council created this
program. Nineteen businesses to date is not an insignificant number and I look forward to
seeing the full results. Thanks.
Resolution 2021-33 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A
Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchaser one (1) new 2022 model HV507 Salt
Truck from International at a cost of $77,424.00, together with the purchase of ancillary
hook lift hoist snow & ice control equipment from Concord Road Equipment at a cost of
$130,730.04, both through the State Purchase Program; and further authorizing the
Mayor to execute all contract documents, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman
Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee
review as this was discussed extensively in the budget process and under careful
consideration we included it in the budget. It is a necessary piece of equipment and we
did discuss it again this evening in Caucus. The motion was seconded by Councilman
Glassburn and passed unanimously.
Roll Call:
Yes: Hemann, Glassburn, Schumann, Brossard, Limpert, Williamson, Kelly
No: None
Motion carried.
Councilwoman Hemann moved for adoption. Resolution 2021-33 adopted 6-1.
Councilman Glassburn voted yes with comment. Again, I would like to thank the Council
for making the effort to find the money to get this done in the budget.
i
