The owner has until June 3 d to respond to our letter. A
Police Officer went there to make sure the dogs were gone and one got out the
owner's car and bit the officer. They are officially out of the City. That doesn't
meant the dogs won't be back, but we are making sure the dogs are out of the
neighborhood. The City is checking on a regular basis and following all state and
local regulations. My feeling is if the dogs are out of the city, they should remain
out of the city and I will be working with the Law Department to make sure that
happens.
Councilman Kelly asked the Mayor if the garbage is going to be a day late this week due
to the holiday.
Mayor Kennedy said yes it would be.
Councilman Kelly said the people he knows no longer gets the text messages since the
City changed the number and he was wondering when that would be fixed.
Mayor Kennedy said he was unaware of the problem and would look into it tomorrow.
