Council Minutes of 8-3-2021 of North Olmsted to authorize settlement of claims arising from opioid litigation, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings as this was discussed in Caucus this evening and we are under advisement by the Law Director there will be additional information, but this piece of legislation needed to move forward in order to move on with the settlement agreement. The motion was seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Hemann, Williamson, Limpert, Brossard, Kelly, Glassburn No: None Motion carried. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Councilwoman Hemann scheduled an Environmental Control meeting for Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2021-47. The Mayor is asked to have his presenters submit anything they intend to bring to the meeting to Council before August 5t" at the close of business so Council has the opportunity to review the presentation to formulate questions. Councilman Brossard scheduled a Finance committee meeting for Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2021-46. The Mayor is asked to attend. Councilwoman Williamson moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Schumann. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Roll Call: Yes: Williamson, Limpert, Brossard, Hemann, Glassburn, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Councilman Schumann excused 6-0.
