Motorist ignore the
pedestrian crosswalk and speed on Clague a road that feeds traffic to and from I90 and 480. Last survey was
15,000 vehicles per day.
The lack of a safe and consistently working pedestrian crossing by Little Clague Park, the lack of a third lane
and or turning lane, the lack of a bike lane and the disrepair and patchwork on this road is horrendous. The berm
of the road is impossible to ride a bike and riding on the road is beyond dangerous (the sidewalk is more
dangerous than the road as motorist back out onto the street without look on the sidewalk for bikers). Ohio law
provides bikers should ride the road and state it is safer than a sidewalk. In the case of Clague Road, it is not
safe at all.
The disrepair and bump from so much patching is horrific from Lorain Road north on Clague.
Our city must not wait till 2023 to update this road. Someone is going to get hurt or killed because of lack of
action by this city's part.
Other details:
1
