previously established by the Council on October 4, 2011, pursuant to its authority as granted in <br />Charter Art. IX, §5, "Nominations and Elections." The map attached to Ordinance 2011-109 and <br />incorporated herein shall serve as the Ward Boundaries until further modified by the Council. <br />SHALL BE AMENDEND AND AS AMENDED SHALL READ IN ITS ENTIRETY AS FOLLOWS: <br />105.01 CITY DIVIDED INTO FOUR WARDS; MAP. <br />Council hereby sets forth, restates and adopts the ward boundaries for the City of North Olmsted, as <br />established by the Council on this date December 28, 2021, pursuant to its authority as granted in <br />Charter Art. IX, �5, "Nominations and Elections" and as set forth on Exhibit A attached to this <br />Ordinance. The Ward Map attached as Exhibit A to Ord. 2022-12 is expressly incorporated and <br />restated herein and shall serve as the Ward Boundaries until further modified by the Council. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to immediately deliver a <br />certified copy of this Ordinance to the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTIONS. This Council requests that the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County cause <br />the redistricting map to be incorporated by and integrated with maps and records of the Cuyahoga <br />County Board of Elections for purposes of municipal and general elections and as otherwise <br />provided for such elections in the manner provided by the general laws of the State of Ohio. <br />SECTION 4. This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this Ordinance were taken in an open meeting of this <br />Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in those <br />formal actions, were in meetings open to the public in compliance with the law. <br />SECTION 5. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately so as to satisfy the <br />deadlines imposed by Charter for redistricting, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />2 <br />First Reading: A <br />SecondReading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: <br />
