The map attached to Ordinance 2011-109 and incorporated herein shall serve as the Ward Boundaries until further modified by the Council. SHALL BE AMENDEND AND AS AMENDED SHALL READ IN ITS ENTIRETY AS FOLLOWS: 105.01 CITY DIVIDED INTO FOUR WARDS; MAP. Council hereby sets forth, restates and adopts the ward boundaries for the City of North Olmsted, as established by the Council on this date December 28, 2021, pursuant to its authority as granted in Charter Art. IX, �5, "Nominations and Elections" and as set forth on Exhibit A attached to this Ordinance. The Ward Map attached as Exhibit A to Ord. 2022-12 is expressly incorporated and restated herein and shall serve as the Ward Boundaries until further modified by the Council. SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to immediately deliver a certified copy of this Ordinance to the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County. SECTIONS. This Council requests that the Board of Elections of Cuyahoga County cause the redistricting map to be incorporated by and integrated with maps and records of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections for purposes of municipal and general elections and as otherwise provided for such elections in the manner provided by the general laws of the State of Ohio. SECTION 4. This Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Ordinance were taken in an open meeting of this Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in those formal actions, were in meetings open to the public in compliance with the law. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately so as to satisfy the deadlines imposed by Charter for redistricting, and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
