WHEREAS, the Cit% of North Olmsted, in the 1970's and 1980'5, had a Ione tradition of orchestrating a 4"' of .lulu fireworks celebration and fostered a sense of community pride and served as a family triendly N%ac to celebrate the holidu%: and WHEREAS. to celebrate the Cit, of Abrth Olmsted's bicentennial. foster communit% pride and provide a ILmily kicndh way to celchrale the 4"' of Jul% x%eckend in 3015. a wildk successful fireworks celebration was held in North Olmsted, to the delight of man}: and WHEREAS. additional. "quulhc successht events were staged in 2016, 2017 and 3018: and WHEREAS. Macor Jones proposes to have a fireworks celebration in North Olmsted at the conclusion of the I lomecuntine ecichration: and WHEREAS. it is the recommendation of the Mayor that the (o enter into a contract stiith Mad Bomber I ireworks Productions to Provide a fireworks display fur the 38"' of August. 10". for $30,000. NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLM.STED, COUNTY OF( VY.AHOGA, AND .STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and she herebc is authorized to enter into an agreement kith Mad Bomber Fireworks Productions to provide a freN( rks display for the Cite of Sorth Olmsted fur the 38'" of Auaust.'_022 The contract shall be in form and substance substantiallc similar to the attached Mad Bomber Productions Agreement. marked as I:ahihit A, and attached hereto, with such chanecs to be hereinafter made in said contract as are not wbstdntiallc adverse to the City and which are approved by the Director of Law. the character of ane such changes as not beine suhstantialh udscrse to the Cit% shall be c%idenced conclusively by the execution of the Agreement by the Mayor and the approval of the Agreement by the Director ofLaw.
