North Olmsted. Ohio. Members of the audicncc were invited to loin Council in the recitation ol'the Pledge of Allegiance. REPORTS COunCilwonlan Gilchrist Chairwoman of the Intra-Governmental Relations Committee: Ilie hllru-Goacrnme tal Relations committee met on 'I ue day, ,January 11, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. Present were committee members (iilchrist, llemann and Scarl: C'ouncilmcmbers Glassburn. Kelly, Limpert & Williamson: Council President .tones: Director of Law Garcau and guests. • Discussed was the appointment of Max Upton to the Director of Economic and Community Development. Mayor .Jones introduced Mr. Upton and he followed up with a brief summarN. The committee and Council proceeded to interview Mr. Upton. Alio all questions had been asked and answered the Committee voted 3-II to recommend appointment. (round INN Oman Gilchrist moved approve the Ma}or's appointment of Max Lipton to the position of Director of Economic and ContmunitN Dcvdopntent. l'hc motion was FCCOnded by ('mwtcilwoman I lemon and passed 7-0.
