NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATF OF OHIO: <br />SECTION I: I hal the ('ity of North Olmsted docs hereby establish the Fix Our <br />Fronts' Storefreal Renovation Grant Program and further adopts and establishes for its <br />operation the Program Eligibility and Requirements, attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by reference as Exhibit A. <br />SECTION 2: the Director of Economic and Community Development be and is <br />hereby designated as the "Fix Our Fronts- Storefront Renovation Grant Program <br />Administrator. Ile is authorized to prepare lox implementation a (irant Application and <br />Grant Agreement which shall be in the form and substance as set forth on the attached <br />Exhibits B & C attached hereto. with such changes in form and substance that are not <br />substantially adverse to the City and which are approved by the Director of Law. The <br />character of the agreement as not being substantialh adverse to the City shall be <br />evidenced conclusicel% by the execution of the agreement by the Mayor and the approval <br />of the contract b% the Director of Law. <br />SECTION 3: Subject to Program I.ligibility and Requirements, grant requests at <br />or below 95,000.00 may be approved administratively by the Program Administrator. <br />Grant requests above $5.000.00 shall be revicyyed and presented to the Board of ('ontrol <br />for consideration of funding and approval. <br />SP:C'PION 4: I,pon approval for funding of a grant application by the Program <br />Administrator or the Board of Control. the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />Grant Agreement with the approved (irantee and the Mayor and the Director of Finance <br />are authorized to award and fund the grant in the amount so approved. <br />SECTION S: that this Resolution is herchv declared to he an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health. safety and <br />welfare. and further for the reason that it is necessary that this Resolution go into effect <br />immediately to begin implementation of this important safety and community <br />improvement project: and further provided it receives the affirmative cote of two-thirds <br />of all members of Council. it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : yyl � o%�7r aha �- Tisv/ Rradnne, <br />Second Reading: ?—/3 <br />Third Rceidin, '%,,,0 a <br />Cnrnrn ace Atll.CgiiZy /zclvr- GPiO <br />13LAlXI(' CT / li L UJUIS./ BROSSARD <br />Clerk of Council Pr'rwident olY'mrnril <br />
