WHEREAS. with the second tranche of finds to be received, the Mavor desires <br />to establish additional programs to further fulfill the five principles set forth above They <br />are: <br />Incest in public Safm <br />$808,000.00 <br />I. Create a Lorain Road fmcrgcncy Vehicle Signal Pre-emption program to use <br />GPS technology to expedite emcrgencv vehicles to respond more rapidly: <br />2. Implement Enhanced Speed Enforcement Measures achieved through <br />signage and other authorized methods: <br />3. Undertake the demolition of Forest Elementary School: <br />Reinvest in Neighborhoods and preserve_ Community Assets <br />$265.000.00 <br />4. 'Make Improvements at the Recreation Center, including upgraded W117I. <br />enhanced security and installation of a panic button for immediate assistance: <br />5. Initiate enhanced security improvements to Springvale, including eccurily <br />cameras and a panic button to increase response time to emergencies: <br />6. Use additional funds to scree as matching finds for improvements at North <br />Olmsted Park: <br />Improve City Services <br />$56 cn nn $352,501.00 <br />7. Digitize all commercial zoning fifes. permitting easier community access: <br />8. Implement a digital I IR Program, allowing applications and other business to <br />be done in a digital fashion: <br />Institute a pavement Condition Rating System rating sidewalks, roadways <br />and ADA ramps and using meta -data to implement a data driven 5 -Near <br />capital improvement plan: and <br />WHEREAS. this Council docs support Mayor Jones' proposed ARPA funded <br />second round of initiatives and does wish to express its desire to the Mayor to proceed in <br />a diligent fashion to implement these important and neccssarN initiatives. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: that this Council does hereby accept and adopt Mayor Jones <br />second ARPA plan for the City of North Olmsted, as outlined herein. <br />
