CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLCTION NO. 2022-85 <br />Bv: Mavor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PURCHASE A FIELD <br />TURF INDOOR TRACK FOR INSTALLATION AT THE RECREATION <br />CENTER FROM FIELDTURF'/ TARKETT S'POR IS COMPANY AT.A COST <br />OF $290,031.50 THROUGH THF_ STATE PURCHASE PROGRAM, AND <br />FURTHER AUTHORIZING TILE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL CONTRACT <br />DOCUMENTS. <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Recreation and Public Engagement recommends that the <br />City purchase a FieklTurl brand indoor track for installation at the Recreation Center_ at a cost of <br />$290.031 S0, as established by the State Purchase Program: and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Mayor to purchase said <br />equipment for installation and improeemenl of the Recreation Center through the State Purchase <br />Program and to turther authorize the Mayor to execute contract documents required for such <br />expenditure. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAIIOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: 1Ind the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to purchase through the <br />State purchase Program administered through Sourcewell, which was established by R.C. <br />Section 125.04, and which the City is authorized to participate in pursuant to the City Charter <br />and Resolution No. 87-6. a FieldIart brand indoor track installation for use at the Recreation <br />('enter, at a cost of $290931.50, as described in the "Coop Pricing proposal' attached as Fxhihit <br />A. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute contract documents with Field -I urf and approved <br />installers (if applicable) and, if necessary, with Sourcewell, to effectuate the Stale Purchase <br />Program. Any contract executed by the Mayor shall be in a Conn and substance consistent with <br />the provisions of this Resolution and be approved by the Director of I.aw. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br />I,irvl Reading: <br />.S'econd Reading. ....
