A Resolution directing the Fiscal Officer of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the Year 2023 all money due and owing said City from any collection source, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call Yes: Glassburn, Limpert, Kelly, Gilchrist, Williamson, Scarl, Hemann No. None Motion carried. Resolution 2022-89 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2022-90 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance dispensing with the RFP process otherwise required by Sections 111.03 at seq. of the Administrative Code and authorizing the Mayor, subject to approval of the Board of Control, if necessary, to enter into a one-year agreement with the Walter H. Drape Company for the purpose of providing Ordinance Codification Services to the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0. Roll Call Yes: Limpert, Glassburn, Gilchrist, Scarl, Hemann, Kelly, Williamson No. None Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-90 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2022-92 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance amending and re-establishing Chapter 131.99(c) of the Administrative Code entitled "Mayor' in order to create the position of Part -Time Support Personnel within the Office of Mayor, Division of Mayor's Court and declaring an emergency. Councilman Glassburn moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Glassburn. Limpert, Scarl, Williamson, Gilchrist, Hemann, Kelly No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2022-92 adopted 7-0. Ordinance 2022-93 introduced by Councilman Glassburn on behalf of all of Council was given its second reading. An Ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for Council -At -Large Members for the term of office commencing January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2027, Resolution 2022-94 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Recreation & Public Engagement to solicit bids for the rental of golf carts and related vehicles for Springvale, and upon approval of the Board of Control, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Hemann moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Scarl and passed 7-0.
