CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE. NO. 2022 - 116 <br />BY. Mavor.lones <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING NEW AND REVISED PROGRAM FEE <br />RANGF_S FOR USE OF PARK AND RECREATION FACILITIES, AND <br />FURTHER RESTATING SAID PROGRAM FEES, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted and this Council have. b virtue of several <br />Ordinances enacted over the course of years (Ord. Nos. 2004-85, 2006-94. 2012-57. 2014-4, and <br />2019-72), established and amended rates and Ice ranges for the use of park and recreation <br />facilities, and program Ice ranges. fill the Division of parks and Recreation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Recreation and public Engagement, by and through the <br />Mayor, recommends and requests that Council consider new and reviscd fee ranges for use of <br />Park and Recreation facilities, and program fee ranges for services at the Recreation Center: and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council. to adopt amendments to the Ices schedules <br />and ranges lot such recreation services and facilities: <br />,NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTF_D, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND ST.4 TE OF OHIO: <br />SECHON l: that the price ranges and Ice structures as established in Ordinance No. <br />2019-72, which presently reads in its entirety as set torth in Exhibit A, which is attached to this <br />Ordinance and incorporated by reference as it fully rewritten herein, shall be amended and, as <br />amended. shall read in its entirety as .set forth in Exhibit 11. which is likewise attached to this <br />Ordinance and likewise incorporated b, reference as it full, rewritten herein. <br />SECYION 2: Ihat this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessar, for the preservation of the public health, saletN and welfare and lot the <br />further reason that it is necessary' that this legislation go into effect inmtediatcly in order to <br />implement reviscd fee schedules prior to annual membership renewals in January. 2023_ and <br />further provided that it receives the affirmative vote of at least two-thirds of the members of this <br />Council, it shall take effect and he in lorce immediately upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mavor. <br />11ISS'ED: ��C(te 1) t.l Cii Jl First Reading: <br />Second Reading, <br />Third Reading 2- <br />Commiliec <br />
