Council hereby sets forth, restates and adopts the ward boundaries for the City of North Olmsted, asestablished by the Council on this date December 2R, 2021, pursuant to its authority as granted in <br />Charier Art. IS,.a�, "Nominations and I?IccIions" and as set forth on Exhibit A attached to this <br />Ordinance. Ilse Ward Map attached as Exhibit A to Ord. 2022-12 is expressly incorporated and <br />restated herein and shall serve as the Ward Boundaries until further modified by the Council. <br />105.02 MAP AND LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS OF WARD BOUNDARIES <br />This Council sets forth and adopts the folloaine Ward boundan leeal descriptions as the <br />Ward Boundaries for the City of North Olmsted: <br />[Note incorporate Attached Ward Map and Ward Boundan Legal Descriptions for all four Wards at <br />codification]. <br />SECTION 2. Ilse Clerk of Council is authorized and directed to intmediateh deliver a <br />certified copy of this Ordinance to the Board of Flections of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION3. This Council rcyuests that the Board of Elections of Cuyaho,m County cause <br />the redistricting map to he incorporated by and integrated with maps and records of the Cuyahoga <br />Counfy Board of Elections for purposes of municipal and general elections and as othernvisc <br />provided for such elections in the manner provided by the general laws of the State of Ohio. <br />SECTION 4. this Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this Ordinance were taken in an open meeting of this <br />Council, and that all deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in those <br />formal actions. were in meetings open to the public in compliance with the law. <br />SECTION 5. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an enereencv measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and Ibr the <br />further reason that it is necessary that this Ordinance go into effect immediately soas to satisfy the <br />deadlines imposed be the Board of Elections, and further provided it receives the eflinnative vote of <br />hyo -thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and he in force immediately upon its <br />passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PdSSLD: I r First Reading: - <br />- Second Reading: <br />7Rird Reading. <br />
