CITYOF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - 9 Br: Mayor Joncs A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE NEW PAVEMENT MARKINGS TO VARIOUS STREETS AND LOCATIONS IN THE CITY, AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, FOLLOWING APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF CONTROL, TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. WHEREAS, various streets at various locations throughout the Cite require new pavement markings this year: and WHEREAS. the necessary specifications to competiticel% bid a street pavernent markings contract this year have been prepared and are on file in the Division of 1'nginecring: and R'HEREAS_ it is the desire ofthis Council to authorize the City Lngincer to advertise tot bids for the award of a contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in the Citv, as set forth in the said specifications. and to further authorize the Mayor. following approval he the Board of Control. if necessary, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder. ,NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C'OUNC'IL OF THE CITY OF NORTI(OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That the City I.ngincer be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the award of it contract to provide new pavement markings to various streets at various locations in the City, as detailed in the specifications now on file in the Division of Engineering. and that further. the Mayor. following approval by the Board of Control is herchv authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the Cifv with the lowest and best bidder.
