CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - IJ Bt: Mavor.loncs A RESOLUTION At THE CITY ENGINEER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE SENIOR CENTER AND COMMUNITY CABIN KITCHEN RENOVATION PROJECT, AS DEIAILL'D IN SPF.CIFICATION.S ON FILE_, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, FOLLOWING APPROVAL BY THE BOARD OF CONTROL, TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR SAME WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted has budgeted for long overdue and much-needed improvement of the Senior Center and C'ommLlunN Cabin Kitchen and. in accordance with such budget, the Division of Engineering has caused for the preparation of specifications. currendh on Ills. to conduct public bidding fix construction services for said project; and WHEREAS. it is the desire of this Council to authorize the City Engineer to advertise lot bids for construction services for the Senior Center and Community Cabin Kitchen Project. as required by law, and to authorize the Mayo' to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder for same, Iollowing Board of Control approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STA IF OF OHIO: SECTION I: That the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorircd to advertise lit bids for construction services for the Senior Center and Community Cabin Kitchen Project in accordance with the bid specifications now on file, and that following approval bN the Board of Control, the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted with the lowest and best bidder. SECTION 2: Thal this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and alter the earliest date provided for by law.
