Council Minutes of 02-21-2023 <br />the Springvale Parking Lot Renovation Project, as detailed in specifications on file, and authorizing the <br />Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract for same with the lowest and <br />best bidder. <br />Resolution 2023-16 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. A Resolution adopting the <br />Cuyahoga County 2022-2027 All -Hazards Mitigation plan and further directing the implementation <br />thereof, and declaring an emergency. Councilwoman Williamson moved to suspend the rules requiring <br />three readings. The motion was seconded by Councilman Madden and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Williamson, Madden, Scarl, Limpert, Gilchrist, Hemann, Glassburn <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. <br />Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. Resolution 2023-16 adopted 7-0. <br />Ordinance 2023-17 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Mayor to enter Into a purchase agreement with Path Master, Inc to install 'Glance' GPS Preemption <br />& Priority Traffic Control Signalization Systems, through the State Purchase Program, at a cost of <br />$305,635.00 in approved ARPA funds and, upon approval of the Board of Control, further authorizing <br />the Mayor to execute contract documents, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2023-19 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance Amending <br />and Re -Establishing Chapter 179 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of Economic and <br />Community Development" in order to create the position of Economic Development Coordinator within <br />the department, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2023-20 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its second reading. An Ordinance Amending <br />the Rates of Compensation for Administrative Personnel to add an Economic Development Coordinator <br />for the Year 2023; and otherwise restating the Compensation Rates and Descriptions for Various <br />Administrative and Legislative Personnel for the year 2023, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance 2023-23 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. An Ordinance to make <br />appropriations for the demolition of Spruce Elementary for the Year ending December 31, 2023. <br />Ordinance 2023-24 was introduced by Mayor Janes and placed on first reading. An Ordinance Amending <br />Section 145.99(d) of Chapter 145 of the Administrative Code entitled "Department of Recreation and <br />Public Engagement," for the purpose of creating Part -Time Support Personnel in the Division of Aging, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2023-25 was introduced by Mayor Jones and placed on first reading. A Resolution dispensing <br />with the REP process and authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Vasco Sports <br />Contractors to provide for turf maintenance at the Recreation Center, and declaring an emergency. <br />
