CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - 35 <br />By: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION A UTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SERVICE <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR LEAF COLLECTION SERVICES AS PER <br />THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE AND, AFTER APPROVAL BY THE <br />BOARD OF CONTROL, FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />ENTER INTOA CONTRACT WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. <br />WHEREAS, the Service Department has prepared and filed all necessary bid <br />specifications to advertise for bids for leaf collection services throughout the City; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for leaf collection services, commencing in 2023, and to further authorize the <br />Mayor to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder to purchase said leaf collection, <br />after Board of Control approval. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTYOF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OFOHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby authorized to <br />advertise for bids for leaf collection needs throughout the City in accordance with the bid <br />specifications now on file (up to a three (3) year contract), and further, that upon approval by the <br />Board of Control, the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute the <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted with the lowest and best bidder. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the <br />earliest date provided for <br />by law. <br />PASSED: d 4a. 3 First Reading.: <br />Second Reading: 41-q-,73 <br />Third Reading: *N-03 �� <br />Committee: <br />ATTEST. <br />BEATRICE TAYLOR - <br />Clerk of Council <br />A PROVED.J4i6 <br />MAYOR NICOLE DA��JONES <br />J <br />LOU9J BROSSARD <br />President of Council <br />APPROVED AS TO LEGAL FORM. <br />Is/Michael R Gareau, Jr. <br />MICHAEL R.
