MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JUNE 27, 2023 <br />Present: Council President Brossard, Council Members Gilchrist, Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert, <br />Madden, Scarl and Williamson. <br />Also Present: Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones and Director of Law Gareau and Director of Finance Copfer, <br />H. R. Director, Economic Director, Safety Director, Service Director, Recreation Director, <br />Special Assistant to the Mayor, Clerk of Council and guests. <br />Absent: None. <br />Council President Brossard called the meeting to virtually via GoToMeeting at order at 6:48 p.m. <br />Council President Brossard asked for a moment of silence for Susan Petterson. <br />t*sJ61UtL-11 <br />Ordinance 2023-68 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation <br />for the construction and maintenance of new custom decorative fencing and branding of same <br />on the bridge carrying Great Northern Boulevard over Interstate Route 480. <br />Councilman Madden moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn <br />and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Madden, Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert, Gilchrist, Scarl, Williamson <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2023-68 adopted 7-0. <br />Resolution 2023-73 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to advertise for bids to <br />award a contract for the Brookpark Road Underpass Improvement Project (Phase 1), as detailed <br />in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the board of <br />control, to enter a contract with the lowest and best bidder. <br />Councilman Madden moved for adoption.
