MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JUNE 27, 2023 Present: Council President Brossard, Council Members Gilchrist, Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert, Madden, Scarl and Williamson. Also Present: Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones and Director of Law Gareau and Director of Finance Copfer, H. R. Director, Economic Director, Safety Director, Service Director, Recreation Director, Special Assistant to the Mayor, Clerk of Council and guests. Absent: None. Council President Brossard called the meeting to virtually via GoToMeeting at order at 6:48 p.m. Council President Brossard asked for a moment of silence for Susan Petterson. t*sJ61UtL-11 Ordinance 2023-68 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation for the construction and maintenance of new custom decorative fencing and branding of same on the bridge carrying Great Northern Boulevard over Interstate Route 480. Councilman Madden moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Madden, Glassburn, Hemann, Limpert, Gilchrist, Scarl, Williamson No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2023-68 adopted 7-0. Resolution 2023-73 introduced by Mayor Jones was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Economic and Community Development to advertise for bids to award a contract for the Brookpark Road Underpass Improvement Project (Phase 1), as detailed in the specifications on file, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the board of control, to enter a contract with the lowest and best bidder. Councilman Madden moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0. Roll Call: Yes: Madden, Glassburn, Williamson, Scarl, Limpert, Hemann, Gilchrist No: None Motion carried. Ordinance 2023-73 adopted 7-0.
