CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2023 -130 BY: Mayor Jones A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH PDQ.COM CORPORATION TO PROVIDE COMPUTER SOFTWARE DESCRIBED AS SMART DEPLOY AT A COST OF $6,372.00, AND TO FURTHER AUTHORIZE TWO (2), ONE (1) YEAR RENEWAL OPTIONS, AND DECLARINGANEMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Information Technology Administrator has recommended that the City of North Olmsted enter into a one-year contract with PDQ.com Corporation to provide Smart Deploy brand computer software services to the City of North Olmsted, at a cost of $6,372.00, together with two (2), one (1) year renewal options, subject to incremental costs increases not to exceed $10,000.00; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract with PDQ.com Corporation for computer software and services. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with PDQ.com Corporation to provide computer software and services, all as set forth in the Agreement attached as Exhibit A. The Agreement executed by the Mayor shall be in a form and substance consistent with the provisions of this Resolution and as approved by the Director of Law. SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and shall go into effect immediately in order to maintain continuity of services; and further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
