CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023 -130 <br />BY: Mayor Jones <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A <br />CONTRACT WITH PDQ.COM CORPORATION TO PROVIDE COMPUTER <br />SOFTWARE DESCRIBED AS SMART DEPLOY AT A COST OF $6,372.00, <br />AND TO FURTHER AUTHORIZE TWO (2), ONE (1) YEAR RENEWAL <br />OPTIONS, AND DECLARINGANEMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Information Technology Administrator has recommended that the City <br />of North Olmsted enter into a one-year contract with PDQ.com Corporation to provide Smart <br />Deploy brand computer software services to the City of North Olmsted, at a cost of $6,372.00, <br />together with two (2), one (1) year renewal options, subject to incremental costs increases not to <br />exceed $10,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of Council to authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract <br />with PDQ.com Corporation for computer software and services. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement <br />with PDQ.com Corporation to provide computer software and services, all as set forth in the <br />Agreement attached as Exhibit A. The Agreement executed by the Mayor shall be in a form and <br />substance consistent with the provisions of this Resolution and as approved by the Director of <br />Law. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and shall go <br />into effect immediately in order to maintain continuity of services; and further provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED.: -" d.OI)-1iµ4.bb1 71 Joh 3 <br />ATCEST <br />TRICE TAYLO <br />Clerk of Council <br />First Reading9a3 <br />Second Reading: src-t <br />Third Reading: t t :11t <br />Committee: <br />LOUISJ BROSSARD <br />President of Council <br />
