CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - 2 By: Mayor Jones A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE RECREATION CENTER MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND HVAC SYSTEMS, AS DETAILED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS ON FILE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, FOLLOWING APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF CONTROL, TO CONTRACT FOR THE SAME WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER. WHEREAS, the Director of Recreation and Public Engagement has planned and budgeted for renewal of service contracts for maintenance of mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems at the North Olmsted Recreation Center; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the City Engineer to advertise for bids for the award of a contract to provide service contracts for maintenance of mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems at the North Olmsted Recreation Center, as set forth in specifications on file, and to further authorize the Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, to enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION 1: That the City Engineer is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for service contracts for maintenance of mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems at the North Olmsted Recreation Center, in accordance with the plans and specifications on file; and further that, upon approval by the Board of Control, the Mayor be and she is hereby authorized to enter into such a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted with the lowest and best bidder.
