Council Minutes of 02-06-2024 <br />Section 1115 of the Zoning Code and added to the Use Table in Chapter 1139 of the Business Code and <br />otherwise regulated in the City of North Olmsted; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Shymske moved to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal Committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Shymske, Glassburn, Madden, Hemann, Scarl, Gilchrist <br />No: Limpert <br />Motion carried. <br />Ms. Hemann voted yes with comment noting she would have preferred hearing of the suspension <br />request earlier. <br />Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman Glassburn and <br />passed 7-0. <br />Roll Call: <br />Yes: Limpert, Glassburn, Hemann, Gilchrist, Shymske, Scarl, Madden <br />No: None <br />Motion carried. Ordinance 2024-11 adopted 7-0. <br />Mr. Glassburn voted yes with comment to state that he is glad we are moving forward with this piece of <br />legislation, noting the City needs to be smarter and more thoughtful about our zoning code, and <br />considering the changes at the mall, Mr. Glassburn noted "we need to get this right". <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Council President Brossard scheduled a Committee of the Whole for Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 7:00 <br />p.m. to consider Council's Appointments to the Landmarks Commission and the Planning and <br />Development Commission and Council Committee changes. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee meeting for Tuesday, <br />February 13, 2024 at 8:05 p.m. to discuss PDC Cases for the Lorain Road Corridor Study and Chipotle, as <br />well as Ordinance 2024-10. The Mayor and/or designee and the Economic Development Director were <br />asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Hemann scheduled a Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee meeting for <br />Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 7:10 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2024-7. The Mayor and the Recreation <br />Director were asked to attend. <br />Councilman Glassburn scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 7:15 <br />p.m. to discuss Ordinance 2024-3, Ordinance 2024-8 and Resolution 2024-9. The Mayor and/or <br />designee, and the Finance Director were asked to attend. <br />Councilman Scarl scheduled a Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee meeting for Tuesday, <br />February 13, 2024 at 7:45 p.m. to discuss Resolution 2024-5. The Mayor and/or designee, Economic <br />Development Director were asked to attend. <br />
