CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2024 - 31 <br />BY: Mayor Jones <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1321.05 ENTITLED `PLANS <br />EXAMINATION FEES" OF CHAPTER 1321 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ENTITLED <br />"PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES" FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />UPDATING PLANS EXAMEVATION FEE SCHEDULES AND DECLARING <br />ANEMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the Director of Public Safety and the <br />Building Commissioner, it is the desire of this Council to amend Chapter 1321 of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to update plans examination <br />fees in the Division of Building. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, CUYAHOGA COUNTY, AND STATE OFOHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That Chapter 1321.05 "Permit and Inspection Fees", which reads in <br />its entirety as set forth on Exhibit A, be amended and as amended shall read as set forth on <br />Exhibit A, with such amendments identified by boldface and / or stricken text. <br />SECTION 2: That any ordinance, or part of ordinance, in conflict or inconsistent <br />with this Ordinance, is, to the extent of any such conflict or inconsistency, repealed. <br />Conflicting or inconsistent provisions of any Ordinance shall be corrected at re -codification. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, safety and welfare, and for <br />the further reason that the Ordinance must be in effect to insure updated fees are implemented <br />in a timely fashion relative to the Spring construction season, and further provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: U First Reading. , 02 <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />Committee: �k� r�C.- <br />
