The Employer may advance step hire based Building Inspectors on <br />recruitment needs and the employee's qualifications. &# Any employee who is promoted to a <br />higher rated position shall be placed on the step in the new position's schedule that guarantees the <br />employee a wage increase. Thereafter, the employee shall progress through the schedule on the <br />employee's promotion date. <br />3&45 28.03 Building Dent Required Certifications/Cerdr(cation Pax Employees occupying <br />the position of Building Division Inspector44VA64nsgeetea, shall have at least one State of Ohio <br />certification m a Residential Building Oficial and Residential Plans Examiner, Building <br />Inspector, Plumbing Inspector or Electrical Safety Inspector. For each additional State of Ohio <br />certification as a Residential Building Oficial and Residential Plans Examiner, Building <br />Inspector, Plumbing Inspector or Electrical Safety Inspector, the employee shall receive an <br />additional $1.50 per hour, not to exceed an additional $3.00 per hour for employees with all three <br />(3) certifications. Trainee certifications shall not be considered additional certifications for the <br />purpose of receiving additional hourly compensation. <br />28.04CerNfiedPool Oaerator/Certilication Pau Employees occupying theposition of requiring <br />certification as a Pool Operator shall receive an additional $.75 <br />per hour provided that they obtain and maintain such certification. <br />4863-12149430, v.2 <br />
