CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED RESOLUTION NO. 2024 - 78 By: Mayor Jones A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TO SOLICIT STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS FROM ARCHITECTURAL FIRMS TO PROVIDE CONSULTING SERVICES IN 2025. WHEREAS, the Director of Economic and Community Development has requested that this Council authorize him to use Chapter 112 of the North Olmsted Codified Ordinances, to implement a Request for Qualifications (R.F.Q.) process to select professional architectural firs to provide consulting services in 2025. WHEREAS, in accordance with the recommendation of the Director of Economic and Community Development, it is the desire of this Council to authorize the Director to use the R.F.Q. process to select appropriate architectural professionals to provide consulting services in 2025 and, further, to authorize the Mayor to enter into contracts with the professionals selected in the R.F.Q. process. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO.- SECTION HIO: SECTION 1: That the Director of Economic and Community Development be and he is authorized to implement the R.F.Q. process to select architectural professionals to provide consulting services to the City of North Olmsted in 2025. SECTION 2: The Mayor, following approval by the Board of Control, is authorized to enter into contracts with the professionals selected in the R.F.Q. process. Said professional services agreement shall be in such for as approved by the Director of Law, with only such terms and conditions as are not substantially adverse to the City. SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law upon its passage and approval by the Mayor.
