Ordinance 2024-77 introduced by Mayor Jones, an Ordinance amending section 145.99(6( <br />of Chapter 145 of the Administrative Code entitled Department of Recreation and Public <br />Engagement, for the purpose of reorganizing the supervisory responsibilities of the <br />Recreation Commissioner and the Assistant Recreation Commissioner. <br />Resolution 2024-78 introduced by Mayor Jones, a Resolution authorizing the Director of <br />Economic and Community Development to solicit Statements of Qualifications from <br />architectural firms to provide consulting services in 2025. <br />Resolution 2024-79 introduced by Mayor Jones, a Resolution authorizing the Director of <br />Economic and Community Development to make application on behalf of the City of North <br />Olmsted for the 2024 Cuyahoga County Supplemental Grant Program, further authorizing <br />the Mayor to accept funds if awarded and to execute contract as required, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution 2024-83 introduced by Mayor Jones, a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter <br />into an agreement with Harrington Electric to install battery backup systems for the North <br />Olmsted Police Department and Dispatch Center, and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman Scarl: <br />Mr. President, at this time, I move to suspend the rule requiring three readings for <br />Resolution 2024-83. As this was heard in Committee last week as just reported on, and the <br />administration is asking for approval for this backup system so it can be installed as soon as <br />possible, and I ask for a second. <br />Councilman Madden: Second <br />Council President Brossard: <br />Motion to suspend the rule requiring three readings for Resolution 2024-83 made by <br />Councilman Scarl, seconded by Councilman Madden.
